1hr 15min easy drive from Knysna to Storms River passing the following places of interest:
10min turn off to Knoetzie with its castles on the beach – nothing else here but a photographer's paradise.
22km after Knysna find Knysna Elephant Park, Plettenberg Bay, a 2nd Elephant Sanctuary, Birds of Eden and Monkeyland
Then across Bloukrans Bridge – the highest bungee jump in the world – into quaint little Storms River Village.
Surrounded by plantations and forests along the Indian Ocean coastline, this peaceful village is a mere collection of smallholdings, a few houses, a couple of shops and... head quarters for the Garden Route's MANY extreme sports like:

The Storms River Mouth section of the Tsitsikamma National Park is absolutely beautiful and a must-visit. A marine reserve includes an incredible 80km of pristine coastline and offers magnificent scenery and a number of short trails (2-6km) along the coastal bush and rocky shoreline. The most popular walk being to the river mouth and crossing the famous 77m long suspension bridge that spans it. Other facilities include a restaurant and dining deck with great ocean views, a tidal pool, small curios shop and convenience store.
